WHY OWNING A HOME IS BETTER THAN RENTING
Keys

A lot of people nowadays choose to rent a house than to buy a house because they think it's cheaper for a short period of time but the reality is it will cost you more than you think.

Here are the reasons why owning a house is way better than renting:

1. It is one of the best investments and a great asset in the future.

Owning a house will be a great help to you. As time goes by, the value of the property/house increases. It is considered as an investment rather than a nightmare because we always thought that buying a house is expensive, which is true but don't you think renting is not? If you're going to sum up all the money that you have paid for the rent over the years, you can already buy your own house.

2. You will have better privacy.

Privacy is important. If you are living in a house that is not single detached or an apartment, you know the tussle of living unpeacefully. If you get lucky with your neighbors, then good for you. But most of the time it's the other way around. You will experience monthly door knocking from your landlord too! And a lot more of daily struggle as a renter.

3. The right to customize your home.

You can have the rights to everything and enjoy your property however you want. You can always redecorate the house without any permission to anyone. Unlike renting, you will need to ask permission if you want to make changes in the house because most of the time, landlords won't allow you. Also, you can have a pet and no one will hinder you. Isn't it amazing that you can freely customize your home in your own preference? It is absolutely!

4. It will help you build a great credit score.

According to Experian, credit scores are decision-making tools that lenders use to help them anticipate how likely you are to repay your loan on time. Through this, you will have a greater chance to qualify for a loan. This loan can be used to buy a car, improve your home or invest a business in the future.

Owning a house comes with a lot of benefits. These are just a few common advantages of owning a property. It is very important to think also about the future. Owning a house is not just having a tangible property but also a property that you can call 'home'.
